📚WV Literacy Night was a success! Thank you to Mrs. Lange, WVHS theatre arts students 🎭, and our 6th grade actors for sharing your fun skits with us. Thank you to Journey Wiese for your oral reading presentation. Thank you Mr. Voss and Art students for sharing your work. 🎨 Thank you to Mrs. Sears and your group of parent volunteers for putting on the Book Fair 📙. Thank you Mrs. Delgado for serving the pies that were graciously donated. 🥧 Finally, thank you to all who attended tonight and made our Literacy Night fun!

From Water Valley FFA: Last week we delivered the donated Thanksgiving boxes to The Family Shelter of San Angelo. Thank you for all of the donations it is greatly appreciated! The winning class of the food drive was 6th grade!

Even though our Water Valley Wildcat Band didn’t make finals, we are so proud of their incredible performance at the state marching contest! 🌟🎶 Their hard work, dedication, and Wildcat spirit shone on every step of the field! 🤍🖤

Happy Veterans Day. Today, our Water Valley NHS honors those who have served by placing flags throughout the Water Valley Cemetery and creating a powerful campus tribute. Every student and staff member stood with hand over heart to form a united flag of gratitude, accompanied by a display of loved ones who have answered the call to serve. Thank you, Veterans, for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country.

From Water Valley FFA "Did you know that as of this year, we can now process meat in our CTE ag lab? Although we are limited to the amount of deer we are able to take in, we will soon be opening up to the community. We have been practicing for the past couple of weeks, as this processing is 100% student led. For more information on processing see the attached flyer or contact Chav."

NHS volunteered today with Meals for the Elderly: "We had two delivery routes and then went back to help with weekend sack lunches and rolls for the Feast of Sharing! The kids loved interacting with the people and one group even sang happy birthday!! It was a good day, a quick trip to Cold Smoke Coffee before heading back topped off our adventure!!"
