Important information for Seniors!
Graduation 2025 Information:
Congratulations graduates!! Listed below is some information regarding graduation day activities. Please contact Mrs. Ontiveroz or Mrs. Sims with any questions.
● Graduation practice will be at 9:00 am on May 23rd. Please be prompt. Attendance is mandatory in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
● All graduates should plan to be at WVHS by 6:15 pm on the 23rd to get ready for graduation. We will meet in Mrs. Gomez’s room.
● At a minimum, dress and grooming standards for graduation must conform to the school dress code. Additionally, the following dress requirements will apply:
o Gentlemen must wear pants, not shorts, and a buttoned collar shirt. Your graduation gown will look best if you wear a tie. Wear close toed shoes or boots.
o Ladies should wear slacks or a dress that is of appropriate length. No flip-flops or slides please.
o Mortarboards and gowns may not be decorated or embellished in any way.
● Class funds will be used to purchase 15 red roses for each graduate. Graduates are encouraged not to plan to hand out more than 15 roses, however, as it becomes difficult to carry the flowers and find the people that you want to give them to, thus delaying the graduation ceremony. When the music for the rose ceremony is over, graduates must return to their chairs even if they still have undelivered flowers.
● There will be a reception in the hallway right outside the middle gym after graduation. Please invite your friends and family to attend.

Just a reminder that the last day to purchase Athletic Banquet meal tickets is Wednesday, May 14th in the HS Office! They are $17 for guests that are wanting a meal at the banquet!
