Our talented OAP crew is heading to the Area One Act Play contest at Angelo State University.
The Details:
📅 When: Friday, April 10th, 2026
🕙 Time: Contest starts at 10:00 AM (Shows run back-to-back)
📍 Where: ASU - Elta Joyce Auditorium

STAAR Testing season is here!
Parents, as we enter into STAAR testing season, please keep a few things in mind:
WVISD Student Council is providing snacks. Do not send food for your child to have during testing. Any food brought in from the outside will be kept in back packs for your student to enjoy at lunch.
Do not allow your child to bring blankets, stuffed animals, or pillows. This is not a rest day.
School dress code will be enforced. No pajama pants.
Students who take their Chromebook home will need to ensure that they are fully charged each night.
Seniors do not have to arrive until 11:00 on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, but they will need to be on campus and check in at the front HS office by 11:00 each day.

Our band and cheer teams did an incredible job marching through the streets to kick off the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo.
A huge shoutout to Senior, Halli Gest, for leading her San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Ambassadors with such excellence as the Captain. We love seeing our students represent Water Valley so well in our community!

A few things to remember if you are heading out to Irion County to watch:
-Players and Coaches are only allowed on the playing court
-Parents/Fans please watch from outside of the fencing
-Parents/Fans please remember to encourage your player when cheering for them.
-It is up to the players to call the ball "in" or "out" and dicuss with their opponents when there is a disagreement about a call
