Updated Pep Rally schedule for the football games this week!!!
Deadline to register for the Sept. 12th SAT test is August 28th. Juniors and Seniors you can take this test as many times as you would like. Juniors, I highly recommend taking it early in your Junior year to get a baseline and see where you are. Higher SAT/ACT scores help you receive more scholarships and high college admission rates. Make sure you have filled out your free/reduced lunch application at school as that can help you get a discount (Test costs $68 each time you take it). San Angelo Central High School and ASU (you can choose when you register) are both offering testing on Sept. 12th at 8:00 a.m. You must register through SAT site: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/. You will have to make payment when you register. You can download paper practice tests from the website as well as take online practice tests. If you have any questions email or stop by and visit with Mrs. Colwell (Water Valley will be giving the ACT test to all Juniors in the spring at no cost to students.)

Congrats to our JV Volleyball team for Runner Up in the Gold bracket! They finished up the Rose Magers Tournament in Big Spring with only one loss. Keep working!

Lady Cats placed 2nd at the Best of the West Tournament this weekend! The girls played hard and fought until the end! Awards: All Tournament-McCaylen Woods and Autumn Fitzpatrick, and All Defensive Player-Molly Wilkerson
First we would like to thank Wink ISD for picking us up and taking us to the tournament and brining us our bus back. The girls did not miss a beat though. They played hard and earned a spot in the Gold Bracket for tomorrow!

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out for Meet the Teacher and Meet the Wildcats last night! It was incredible seeing so many smiling faces and feeling all that great community energy. We can’t wait to welcome all of our students back on campus this Monday!
While catching up with everyone last night, we noticed a few minor dress code and grooming details that we’d love your help ironing out before the first bell rings. Please take a quick moment over the weekend to review these key guidelines so all of our students can start day one with confidence:
Hair & Hair Styles: Hair should be a natural color (no tinsel, feathers, or glitter accents, please!). We also ask that students avoid styles like ponytails (for boys), mohawks, faux hawks, mullets, or spikes.
Grooming & Length: Boys' hair should be trimmed so it stays above the eyebrows, shirt collar, and bottom of the earlobes. Facial hair should be clean-shaven.
Piercings: Any nose rings need to have a clear or non-colored spacer. We truly appreciate your partnership in helping our Wildcats look and feel their best as we start an amazing school year together!

The UIL has transitioned to a new student eligibility platform, and every parent/guardian must complete the Rank One registration process as soon as possible. Delaying this process could impact your student's UIL eligibility and participation.
