Acceptable Library Use Policy

• Materials from the Library must be checked out before leaving No food or drinks are allowed in the Library
• No horseplay…you may be removed from the Library
• Please treat Library materials properly or the privilege will be removed
• Fines for overdue Library materials are 10 cents per day.  Fines for lost Library material(s) is the original cost of the book plus $3.00 for reordering and processing the new book.  Fines for damaged Library material(s) are set by the Librarian.
• Fines are due in a timely manner and will carry over into the next school year if not taken care of before the end of school that year.  The Librarian decides, if fines are not paid, whether the student will be able to check out books for the rest of the current school year or next.  Fines are excluded on weekends and holidays.
• A new list of overdue fine notices will be posted outside the Library several times a week.  NOTE:  Make sure you are checking the due date in your book to avoid fines and the overdue list on a daily basis.
