Hello! 

My name is Mrs. Downs. I'm so very happy to be a part of the third grade team here at Water Valley ISD! More importantly, I'm THRILLED to be your child's teacher! It is bound to be a great year filled with learning and growing!

    • This will be my 28th year of teaching.
    • I've taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, K-5 Library, and STEAM².
    • We moved here from South Dakota.
    • My hometown is Bridgeport, Nebraska.
    • I absolutely love Greek Mythology.               

  • My family is spread out across this country. My husband, Dave, and I live in San Angelo with our two dogs. Our son and his wife live in Los Angeles. The rest of my family is spread out from coast to coast. Here's hoping they all come to our house for Christmas!
