Water Valley ISD has made the difficult decision to not provide a PreK program for the 2020-2021 school year. This decision was based upon the uncertainty of school funding due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the low number of qualifying eligible applicants for the PreK program. Water Valley ISD has made the commitment to review this decision each year in order to provide the best opportunity for our community. If you have any questions regarding this decision, please feel free to contact any administrator at Water Valley ISD.
At Water Valley ISD, we are committed to our mission of 100% of our students receiving a meaningful, challenging education, delivered in a safe learning environment, that prepares him or her to be a capable, productive, and contributing citizen.
With this goal in mind, and as we navigate an unprecedented period of disruption to our traditional, safe learning environment, we believe learning can happen anywhere, anytime! To assist our families, Water Valley ISD has created The Wildcat Learning Den, which will be filled with links and resources for our Wildcats of all grade levels to complete the learning assignments at home.
We are asking all parents to ensure that our Wildcats will engage in at-home learning activities during the school closure.
Our Wildcats will use this section to find information about their assignments and their parents will find resources to different things to help facilitate your at-home experience with your child.
We are preparing additional resources that will be added to this section of our website throughout the school closure. We can't wait to see all of our Wildcats back on campus!
