Mrs. Terrill
  • I am very excited to be teaching at Water Valley High School again this year!  This will be my 20th year teaching math.  We live in town but also have a family ranch here in Water Valley.  I married my husband Mike in 1998.  My son Mason is a senior at Baylor and my daughter Megan is a senior here at Water Valley High School.  Max and Magi are our Great Danes and we have Marco who is a rescue.

I graduated from Angelo State University in 1996 and I completed my Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership from Howard Payne University in 2014.  I was a part of the Brownwood ISD family for 16 years as a classroom teacher teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2.  I have also taught 5th grade math at TLCA Elementary.   I am certified to teach 4th grade through 12th grade math, 6th through 12th grade Business, and I am Principal certified EC - 12.  I teach a diverse population of children including but not limited to special education, dyslexic, gifted and talented, and 504 students.  I was also recognized as the 2020 Secondary Educator of the Year at Brownwood ISD.

I strive  to deliver the highest quality education in the most positive environment by establishing collegial relationships with fellow teachers, building trust with members of our school community, enforcing district policies, and supporting high expectations that are clearly defined and communicated to our students. Each and every child is capable of learning and deserves high quality classroom instruction. Students are the most important stakeholders on our campuses.

My school culture is defined as students, parents, and teachers working together to create a school where students want to come and learn, where they feel important and loved.

The kids of WVISD deserve the best.
