Water Valley ISD has a strong tradition of academic excellence. Our state accountability ratings historically have been exemplary or recognized. Under the new accoutability system the district and campuses have Met Standard. Students at both the elementary and secondary campuses meet adequate yearly progress for NCLB as well as receiving a number of Distinction Designations for their academic accomplishments. Our students perform well in UIL academic competitions year after year. The district's goal is for every student to experience academic success and become a lifelong learner.
